From an idea to the room

From surface mapping
to projector output.

01 / MAP

Map your surfaces.

Align projected visuals to real objects with corner pinning, mesh warping, and polygon masks. Fine-tune each point in the mapping canvas.

02 / CREATE

Build your visuals.

Combine your images and video with text, gradients, and 13 animated effects. Give each mapped surface its own look.

03 / PROJECT

Send it to your projector.

Open a dedicated projector output and play your scenes. Change your visuals while the physical surface mapping stays in place.

Your projection mapping studio

Precise mapping.
Less busywork.

Map a surface. Add your content. Project.
A focused workflow keeps the tools close
and your ideas moving.

Small adjustments. A closer fit.

Grab a corner, nudge a point, or enter an exact coordinate. Zoom into the details without changing your projector alignment.

Create and project offline.

Your files and rendering stay on your Mac. Work locally with your own media, then project without a cloud rendering service or an internet connection.

Map once. Change the scene.

Save different looks as scenes. Shared geometry keeps your surfaces aligned as you switch colors, video, text, and effects.

A clean projector output.

A dedicated output keeps panels and handles off your projection. Freeze and blackout stay close at hand.

Getting started with Prism

Projection mapping
questions, answered.

What is projection mapping software?

Projection mapping software fits images, video, and animated visuals to specific surfaces instead of showing a flat rectangle. Prism uses editable corners, meshes, and masks to align content with walls, objects, and installations.

Can I learn projection mapping with Prism?

Prism includes sample projects so you can explore a complete setup, adjust the surface corners, and experiment with built-in effects. The same workspace contains the mapping canvas, content controls, scenes, and projector output.

What do I need to get started?

A compatible Mac, a projector, and a surface to project onto. You can explore the editor and included sample projects before connecting a projector.

Which computers does Prism support?

The current desktop beta is for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 12 or later. Windows and Intel Mac downloads are not available yet.

Can I use my own images and videos?

Yes. Import local images and supported video files, then layer them with colors, text, and built-in animated effects. Current imports support files up to 300 MB each.

Do I need an internet connection to project?

The current beta renders locally and can project offline. You do not need to upload your media to use it.

Is Prism ready for my live show?

Prism is in early access. Test your complete project on your own computer and projector before using it for a live event. Hardware requirements and supported workflows will expand as testing continues.

How much will it cost?
